Unable to Receive tDUST from Faucet and Send Button Not Working in Beta Lace Wallet

I’m trying to fund my Lace wallet with tDUST from the Midnight testnet faucet so I can start testing transactions and DApp development on the Midnight Testnet.

After requesting tDUST from the Midnight testnet faucet twice, I did not receive any tokens in my Beta Lace wallet. Additionally, the “Send” button in the Lace wallet does not display anything or allow me to send transactions.

I:

  • Verified that I copied the correct Bech32m wallet address from the Lace wallet, as recommended in the docs.

  • Waited several minutes after each faucet request in case of network delays.

  • Checked the wallet balance, which remains at 0.00 tDUST.

  • Reviewed the token acquisition documentation and Lace wallet setup guide for troubleshooting steps.

  • Attempted to request tokens again, but the faucet now prevents further requests, possibly due to rate limits.

No error messages are shown. The faucet reports a successful transaction submission, but the tokens do not appear in the wallet. The “Send” button in the Lace wallet does not respond or open any interface.

I’m following the official Midnight developer tutorial and using the Beta Lace wallet Chrome extension as described in the documentation.

What’s up with the test-faucet? Midnight | Request Test Tokens This still work? and should use Midnight Lace wallet or follow the Discord and use Lace Beta wallet only now for testing? Seems like Lace Beta isn’t working with Test Faucet? Any support would be appreciated.

Good morning!
I just tried the faucet, and although I got a transaction ID, I did not receive any tDUST in my wallet (Lace). I will report the issue and let you know when it’s working again.

It looks like the faucet was out of sync with the chain, it was fixed and you should be able to get tDUST now, let me know if you still have issues!

hey @Galguix It should work now! I just tried it and it worked! Sometimes there are problems with the extension, it’s a Beta version. I’ve noticed that the problems mostly occur on weekends!

I haven’t had any issue with the tDUST faucet up until now. I tried to grab tDUST every now and then. Hopefully it’s also working for everyone also. Thanks for the update @claude_barde & @luislucena

@andreassosilo yes, it’s working well! the specific problem is in the wallet, not in the faucet, sometimes resync must be done because the wallet experiences problems.

Hi guys! When I try to claim the tDUST from the faucet, I get this error. I’ve tried a different browser, and it’s still the same. What can I do?
