Quick update since it has been about a week and this thread has been quiet

Account deletion is live in the app now. You can delete your account and everything tied to it, in-app, with a confirmation step so it is not an accident. That shipped in Android build 5 and iPhone build 4, both out to testers.

We also added a Discord assistant, Sky, that answers common questions about the app, including how account deletion works. If you are testing and have a question outside our hours, ask it there first.

For testers, there is a new relay view: it shows what our relay currently holds, on a short delay. The point is to make that checkable instead of asking you to take our word for it. The design has not changed: the relay only ever sees ciphertext, and holds it briefly for people who are offline. Now you can watch that for yourself.

Alongside the app work, we kept hardening the server side this week. Nothing user-facing to report there, just steady maintenance.

The main thing holding the beta back from opening wider right now: both the iOS and Android apps are sitting with Apple and Google for review. That is it, nothing stalled on our end. The beta opens to more testers as soon as both are approved.

As always: sign up with a username, nothing else. No phone number, no email, no wallet. Your identity is a zero-knowledge proof on Midnight, a sponsor pays the registration fee, and your messages stay end-to-end encrypted and off-chain. Thanks for sticking with it while it is quiet. More soon.
