Problem Claiming Glacier Drop ETH/Ledger – “Invalid signature” Error

I am trying to complete my claim for the Glacier Drop, but I am consistently running into the “Invalid signature, please paste a valid signature” error.

Here are the steps I have followed:

  1. I connected my Ledger hardware wallet (Ethereum app). Updated (2.5.1).

  2. I used MyCrypto (and also tried with MetaMask + Ledger) to sign the exact message provided by the Midnight claim page.

  3. Signing works correctly – I receive a 132-character hex signature (starting with 0x).

  4. I verified the signature in MyCrypto’s “Verify Message” tool, and the recovered address matches my claim ETH address exactly (the “green message”).

  5. When I paste this signature into the Glacier Drop claim page, I get the red error:

“Invalid signature, please paste a valid signature.”

Additional info:

  • Ledger firmware and Ethereum app are fully updated.

  • Blind signing is enabled on my Ledger ETH app. Also tried without it.

  • I copied the claim message directly from the Midnight site (no formatting changes).

  • I have tried with both MetaMask + Ledger and Ledger direct via MyCrypto, same result.

Could you please advise? Is there a known issue with Ledger ETH accounts, or could there be a mismatch with the snapshot data?

Thank you very much for your help.
