# Error: failed to decode for built-in type EmbeddedFr after successful typecheck

hey @lolocoding / @claude_barde based on my research and the community’s feedback, this usually happens when the input value is out of range, and it doesn’t reduce correctly. I tested this by trying to declare the `Field` corresponding to `ecMulGenerator` with a value of `Field = 2`. That worked for me. It’s a temporary workaround.

I’d like to know if the Midnight team is working for a better solution on this? Thanks in advance.

Let’s definitely create a feedback [ticket](https://shielded.atlassian.net/jira/software/c/form/6a6bc6a7-27af-486c-aee8-caebb2fbf98c?from=directory) for this! And then we can advocate on the community’s behalf with the PMs and Eng team to prioritize a better solution!

EDIT: As I understand it, @sergeykisel has opened a ticket about this topic already! So let’s be sure to check in with the PMs next week @claude_barde on this to find out the status.
