# Check Validator Registration Script with Midnight-Scripts

Checking your validator’s registration status on the Midnight test-net just got easier.

**How does it works**

The **Check Validator Registration Script** is a lightweight shell utility designed to help you confirm whether your validator is registered on the Midnight test-net.

It checks:

1. If your **Side-chain Public Key** is registered for the **current epoch**.

2. If not registered, it checks **two epochs ahead** to see if your validator is scheduled to be active.

3. And if a registration still isn’t detected, it flags that your setup hasn’t gone through

4. If registered, it even displays **validator metadata** for easy verification.
